We've turned on the ability to create user accounts. Access will be granted for friends and family and will provide the opportunity to interact in current and future areas of the website. This includes such things as commenting on news and other content, access to restricted areas of the website, and more. So, if you are a friend or relative, use the Signup link found near the Login button. All accounts are manually approved before access is granted.

Well, wasn't sure if this should be classified as Family or Outdoors, so I stuck it in Family.

As many of you know though, we're a family that loves to be outdoors. This also leads to us having hobbies that allow us to spend time outdoors together, preferably in remote locations. This includes things like camping, Jeeping, hiking (with the dog), and Geocaching.

We were going on a bit of a walk the other day, and decided to take a little detour along the lake rim back to one of the lower trails. We started a little ways from the Saddle dam, and the goal was to tie in a bit below one of the pumping stations.

The webcam image now has its own page. It can be accessed from the navigation menu. I am told that at this time it appears to be the only publicly available webcam in the Oroville area.

Had some time this weekend, and besides finishing taxes, I spent some time working on the site.

We are implementing a content management system as the new provencio.com website. Never have time to edit the website, but sometimes get a hankering to add something. This will allow for that without having to edit HTML, etc. Still not all the way in production yet, but working on it.
